Lore on Tommy "Rocket" Lint
Tommy Lint (1920-1946) was Underameias Ace of Aces in the 2nd war against the Nike Nation. In 1939 he joined the UAAF and trained in the UA100. He stayed with that plane until 1944. He scored 20 kills in the 100. When he moved to the 250, he gained popularity when he took down a carrier fleet (2 destroyers and 1 carrier) in 10 seconds, by climbing to 30,000 feet and diving down to gain speed to quickly mow down the enemy's with the UA250s powerful cannon. He gained 250.5 kills in the 250. In 1946, his jet was shot down by AA cannons, his Ejection seat wasn't working. He survived the crash but with major injuries, and unfortunately died 12 hours later at the hospital.
Footage of crash (Above and below)
After his jet crashed, it was rebuilt and the replica is found in the UAAF Muesuem.
