Description
Smirnov SM-6 (NATO reporting name "Cliff") is a Soviet twin-engine transport aircraft, designed in 1948 by Smirnov design bureau in Leningrad. Designed for use on unprepared airfields.
The design is a twin-boom two-engined high-wing monoplane
Equipped with two Nikolayev VN-1F 20-cylinder radial piston engines, each providing power of 3000hp. Each engine drive a pair of contra-rotating four-bladed propellers
