Challenger 2
My magnum opus.
After 8 months in development, hopefully it was worth the wait.
- A certain game developer.
Greetings commanders!
This is the FV4034 Challenger 2, specifically the Challenger 2 of the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, B squadron, DS 68 AA, replicated with cutthroat attention to detail and realism. Special thanks to @NumbersNumbersTheMan and @BaconAircraft and SPMC & SPBC for testing & help (also Jimmy).

Combat
This build faithfully replicates the real gunner sights of the Challenger 2. Reference below for gunner sight symbology.
Image intensifier night-vision devices are equipped on both the gunner sight and commander periscope.
Two types of ammunition for the main gun are provided: L27A1 APFSDS (CHARM 3) and L31A7 HESH.
There additionally is a L94A1 coaxial chain gun and a L37A2 (FN MAG) GPMG for the loader.
The L8 smoke system is also available with 10 smoke canisters.
Features
This build features excruciating detail! Please take the time to really look around it; there are tons of features and tidbits replicated with painstaking accuracy (dimensions, weight, you name it... and also an easter egg; please do tell me if you find it).
The smoke grenades are a new development; they work just like the real thing!
Closing Remarks
Wow. This has been in the works since April this year, and I finally got around to finishing it, just on time for Christmas! My first real build actually- it’s been quite a ride, and it’s almost a bit sad now that I’ve finished it. There definitely are things I want to improve on, but that’s for later when I have a better machine. I’ve really been testing the limits of my laptop with this one.
Either way, it’s definitely been a tough year everyone, but let’s look forward to the good things to come. Until my next project then-- see you all.
Have fun, as always-

@BARREND Z Fold4
@Supremellama device?
how in the hell does my phone run this better than my pc bru
I lost both my arms due to this beast violating my phones rights, causing it to explode :(
Time to short circuit my tablet
@SnoWFLakE0s Yes, I know. My tablet didn't break a sweat! 3 FPS and 3 screenshots, very cool.
@TRD
.
Thanks for the compliments! Lots of things to find and explore on this build. At the expense of 2690 parts, however :)
Even the machine gun has its own little details. So good!
What I really liked about this is, the barrel. The way you paneled it and everything is very fine, and there's so much detail on it.
The small railings were my favourite bits too, I'm amazed that you've pulled that off without using fuselage cutting at the time. It must have been pretty hard to do.
@SnoWFLakE0s
Absolutely amazing work.
The best part is, this was done before revolutionary thingamajigs and features would soon come to the game (like fuselage cutting).👏
.
My crappy 3gb RAM tablet managed to run it with about 15 FPS to spare.
@TRD
.
Yes, because I harbor a small dislike for part-mods.
wtf tonk with no tracks 2!!!! rial
@uselessuser151
.
You need a variable-rate smooth function.
May I ask is there a way to make the "LOADING" piston extending speed slower than its retracting speed?
Bruv, even my gaming laptop is lagging trying to run this lmao
potato pc starts making French fries loading this masterpiece
spills tea
@ArkRoyalTheDDhunter
.
Nope, completely unrelated. It's made using rockets. It's a further development of this system here.
Can I ask what's mod map did you use about this background ?
I have a Mac, and it still freezes my game and the music keeps repeating at a certain part and gets stuck at 58%
