In 2019, Supercat was acquired by the Dennis Uy-led Udenna Group through its Chelsea Logistics Holdings Corporation from the 2GO Group.[1] At the time Mr. Uy was chairman of the 2GO Group.[2] Mr. Uy's company had previously acquired an indirectly ownership of 28.15% of Supercat in 2016 and took over management of Supercat the same year.[2] Supercat was previously the sister company of SuperFerry, Cebu Ferries and 2GO Travel.

@Sano24 yes. M/V St. Nuriel was the old M/V Supercat 22, while M/V St. Sealthiel was the old M/VSupercat 25.
M/V St. Nuriel sank with M/V St. Dominic 1 somewhere in Mabini, Batangas because of Typhoon Quinta
