”The P-51 Mustang of The Vietnam War”
————————————————————————————————
Breif/Boring History Lesson...
In my opinion, the Vietnam war was not just a war to see who would win, but a war to innovate over the enemy, if you get what I mean. This plane is nicknamed the “Thud” for the name being the F-105 THUnDer chief, you can see where the nickname came from. Not only was there 4 veraitions of this aircraft, it was used to take out enemy SAM (Surface to Air Missile)! It was pretty good agents MiGs and held over 12,000 pounds of weaponry. In total around 50,000 including gas and the airframe and other add ons.
I have been wanting to make this plane for ever, in fact, sense I started Simpleplanes I wanted to make it. Somthing about this plane just sparks my imagination and makes me want to make 9,000 of them! Hope you like this plane!

This looks very good, I made one aswel, but it didn’t have the opening nose
Very true @Liensis
The Thunder family (Thunderbolt I and II, Thunderchief and other) are the ultimate flexers of Aircraft history.
Was called thud because of the name it would make when it hit the ground...
All republic aircraft had a habit of being underpowered, and heavy aircraft, needing extremely long and precise takeoff rolls to prevent a crash
Same @BlackhattAircraft
I love thuds 😀
Lol
You can do it @Jacobdaniel
Thanks! @BaconRoll
