with the realization the 77 & 84mm cannons wouldnt be produced in large enough numbers during the crisis. the Aviensian Military retrofitted ww2 A8 Valiants with the modern equipment and upgraded the 75mm gun. the result became the Valiant Mk IIc which proved to be a capable stopgap tank and served for many more conflicts to come. the last A8 Valiant tank to be withdrawn from frontline was in 1965 and the last of the Valiant series only retired in 1981 in the form of the Valiant Recon. the Successor to the Valiant became the A10 Warrior which reached frontlines in 1945 but became the main fighting tank only in 1948
