Grace is a specialized motor-glider designed to takeoff under its own power, climb to altitude, then purge the engines and fuel to soar and glide before eventually landing again.
AG1 throws away the engines and fuel tanks. Make sure you're mostly level and straight before dumping them. In empty mode, the stall speed is around 60 mph.
You can also choose to never dump the engines. It's still a mighty fine plane in its own right. It would save you the costs of buying new engines every time you wanted to glide as well!
