Background

The FV Corp. 60(H)-2(150) was a 150mm armed 60(H)-2 variant, that was put into short production due to most 75mm cannons being dedicated to the 60(H)-1 turret program. To find some use for the casemate, engineers made simple modifications to the tank in order to house the Low velocity howitzer, support, 150(tank), or (LVH/S 150(T)), a modified variant of the commonly used 150mm howitzer that was able to be mounted into the 60(H)-2, as well as other vehicles. Around 1000 FV Corp. 60(H)-2s were made (around 300 being this support variant) before production of the casemate stopped completely. Despite this, the tanks went on to serve until the end of the war, as such reliable vehicles could not be put to waste.

Notes

  • I like to think of this as an evolved version of my unfinished 150mm SPG thing. Only reason I added sideskirts to this aswell
    text

  • This is most likely the final rendition of the FV Corp. 60(H) unless I decide to add and SPAA variant or something, although that’ll most like just be linked in the original post.

  • Big gun makes big boom

Enjoy!
