Gulfstream S102C Korpen, Royal Øslarka Air Force
The Gulfstream S102C Korpen is an upgraded version of the Gulfstream S102B Korpen that has C3ISREW capabilities and was built for the Royal Øslarka Air Force. The S102C can do Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare, and Communications. Under the Royal Øslarka Air Force, it’s operated by the Royal Øslarka Air Force but its electronic warfare officers are from the Royal Øslarka Cyber Defense Force.
Lacking ISR and EW capabilities, the Royal Øslarka Air Force started to look for aircraft that can handle both. They first looked at the Embraer R-99, but only had C3I capabilities. They then looked at the Raytheon Sentinel and the comparable Bombardier E-11A but was deemed too costly for its operational costs. They then contracted Astraeus Corporation GmbH to modify a Gulfstream IV with C3ISREW capabilities. Due to its similarity to the S102B Korpen, it was designated by the Royal Øslarka Air Force as the S102C Korpen. The S102C has caught the attention of countries with the same needs.
