Colonial Fleet Viper Mk. II (Battlestar Galactica)

[Several bugs addressed via xml editing]
The Colonial Fleet Viper Mark II - up there with the X-Wing on the list of most iconic space fighters of all time. Climb in the reasonably screen-accurate cockpit and go blast some frakking Cylons!

Controls:
All flight controls normal
Activation Groups
1: Main Engines
2: Reaction Control System (use with caution)
3: Running Lights
4: Landing Lights
5: Drag Chute
6: Jettison Ordinance (ensure wings are level)
7: Open Canopy
8: Main Reactor (leave on)

High center of thrust results in a pitch-down moment when accelerating. Counter with Trim or back pressure. Trim to 60% or greater before takeoff. Recommended takeoff thrust setting is 30-40%. Rotate at 190-200 knots. Recommended approach speed is 120-130 knots.

Lore:
The Viper family of single-pilot fighter spacecraft have been a lynchpin of the Colonial Battlestar Fleet since before the first Cylon War. While later models have featured improvements in armor, avionics, armament, and power, no ship is more iconic than the venerable Mark II.
Fast, agile, and deadly; 40 of these ships were included when the battlestar Galactica was prepared as a museum exhibit. Following a surprise attack by the Cylons that disabled ships with modern avionics, those Mark IIs were refurbished and went on to successfully defend the remnant Human Fleet on its journey to Earth.

[Note: Yes, this version has wheels instead of landing skids. I wanted to be able to take off from runways. Maybe I'll get around to custom-making some sweet skids for this, but the part count is lower and usability is higher this way.]

@spectre118 Thank you for both the compliment and the feedback! I've updated the .xml file to fix that and a couple other bugs with the label attachments; please re-download and give it a try!

Honestly I had given up hope on seeing a good viper mark 2 here, but this, this does being a tear to my eye but there is one problem, when the cockpit opens it takes the whole cockpit with it

    @MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 I'll say this: there's a reason I built the Viper instead.

Controversial opinion the x-wing is one of the worse wing fighters
