Thank you all for helping me reach 1000 points. To celebrate my new 'Silver' status, here is my Miles Hawk in classic silver dope livery, upgraded to a late 1930's Hawk Major. Enjoy!
As with the original Hawk Major, this airplane has a new, more powerful engine (Raising the top speed from 120 mph to 135), a new enclosed landing gear and split trailing edge flaps that are more like air brakes. (They are useless as takeoff help, but do a good job bringing down the speed in the last stretch of the landing approach)
And if you haven't yet, check out the original and the racing version:
-Miles Hawk 2A early series: The original
-Miles Hawk Speed Six racing plane
Update: I wanted the new plane to still use only 100 parts to comply with the rules for @Winswings VR100 challenge . However after uploading the previous version of the plane, I noticed it somehow clocked in at 101 parts, so I deleted the middle piece of the exhaust pipe to bring this version back in compliance (Honestly, that's the only thing that's changed between this and the previous version. Call me a beancounter, but honestly I feel better this way)

This looks so good for only having 100 parts! Also, the prop pitch control feature is excellent - such a simple bit of code, but it works perfectly.
