This is an experimental fighter aircraft that is designed to be flexible, which means it can fulfill many different roles and outperform its competitors while doing so. The M.W. 4000 was an experiment with swept wing designs to see if it was a stable platform for multirole purposes. And indeed, it was. With eight air-to-air missiles and eight unguided rockets, this aircraft can to a number on both air and ground targets.
