So I was tasked with building a giant landship sub thing, however that didn't end up happening for many reasons. This project was plagued with creative differences with the contractors, technical problems, and in general was stuck in production hell. At this point im just done with it. Regardless of these issues, it still ended up being a halfway decent cruiser submarine. And a personal question to MintLynx: How have you maintained any sanity after years of making these things?
controls:
1: gun turrets
2: torpedo bench, use above water only
7: secondary gyro, used with the turrets
8: main gyro, use in normal mode
VTOL: main drives
Trim: depth controls

Overall the engines and ballast engines are great! Only thing this should have is neutral buoyancy. Replacing the buoyancy with a more customizable set through either in the form of a smaller buoyant block (which uses more than 100% buoyancy) or a hollow fuselage. Both will let you set the buoyancy precisely by the decimal, which is important for submarine buoyancy. Something to note for any future submarine! I think you can make something good with that bit of advice!
Looks cool and performs great! I kinda miss the little sub tho
I'd be lying if I said I never had moments of frustration xD
Well I had excellent bases to iterate from, Willy1111's Surveillance submarine gave me an idea how a Submarine could function without pistons, while Toscio56's U96 provided a useful engine design I could iterate off of. The rest was generally improving off my inspirations with experience and finding new discoveries.
I'm making a very large ship and I can understand what you mean
