I don't care how bad its performance was, the XF-90 is one of my favorite planes.
Literally just an XF-90... yes I gave an F-86 livery because I thought it'd be cool lol

@Rb2h I know how you feel, bro... the idea has crossed my mind several times... just too tired to do it... might make a normal ducted fan tho.
I just thought of using a bunch of propellers inside of a hollow fuselage to make a weird jet engine
@MolotokSP Actually, it's a bit closer to the F-101 or F-20:
-F-101 is essentially the XF-90's nephew, with the XF-90 being a direct relative with the XF-88 which the F-101 is based on (this isn't lore, this is real facts, the XF-90 and XF-88 were in competition, the program was cancelled, but XF-88 inspired the F-101)
-Both the XF-90 and F-20 both had potential, but a number of issues and reasons put them on the list of the fighters that never were.
-At the same time, the F-20 is just an upgraded F-5 (if I remember correctly)

@Karroc9522 *Lockheed stole it, actually (it's virtually impossible to find an official nickname for the XF-90 online, but the book I found- which was apparently made by a Lockheed veteran himself- refers to the plane in question as the Starfire).
