Saftey Scout is a lightly armed plane with a sinister infiltration technique. From its safe home base, it uses two bomb drones to scout its route and destination, and if needed, to destroy and ground defenses lying in wait. Press 1 or 2 to arm the engines of the drones while detaching them. Press 3 to turn on the Scout's engines. Be careful not to have Scout's engines on if you're piloting a drone. When a drone's engine is armed, pressing the gun trigger will detonate its bomb in the air, allowing you to set off air blasts close to overshot targets. Safety Safety Scout can also be flown with the drones still attached. Your speed is reduced, and your roll rate suffers, but you retain very good pitch control. Be extra careful when landing with drones attached. Too much brake will cause you to flip over. The main plane is also armed with a single machinegun. One last thing: This plane is great for infiltrating the Ice Base. Guide your bombs into the missile launchers, then fly scout in with no resistance.
