F-64-A2 Crowhawk
Welcome to my most ambitious, time-consuming, and frustrating project to date that I am thoroughly proud to call my own!
The F-64-A2 Crowhawk
My inspirations behind this wonderful aircraft of mine come from the idea that a fighter should be able to do literally anything; attack from every range long and short, achieve great speed, be able to take off vertically, post-stall maneuver with high obedience, be maneuverable in general, carry an advanced payload, and provide the pilots with high levels of situational awareness. Thus, the F-64-A2 Crowhawk was born!
Let us break down every feature 1 by 1 now, shall we?
Speed Performance
First feature is its speed. Sure, it already looks quite fast with its massive engines and a streamlined fuselage, and its thrust-to-weight ratio is quite good, even without afterburners; but this fighter can also reach Mach 2 with ease just 1 mile above sea level. How is this possible?
Ramjet, baby!
By reaching 300 meters per second IAS, or higher, with afterburners pre-activated, you can activate Ramjet and throw yourself back into your seat as you and your co-pilot are pushed to Mach 2 in under a minute! (Be sure to use Trim or activate Auto-Pilot to keep yourself from tilting downward, naturally.)
With this ability, you can outrun almost any missile fired at you, and it will be difficult for any conventional fighters to even think about catching up to you at such speeds!
(Fun fact: when you activate Ramjet, the rear of the engines compresses forward into the frame of the aircraft a little bit. I did not mean for that to happen, but it looks really cool, adds to the aesthetic, and does not damage the aircraft in any way, from my experience.)
VTOL and PSM
But in case extremely high speed isn't your thing, let's also talk about its second feature! As implied before, with this aircraft being able to do literally anything, the Crowhawk comes with the ability to VTOL! If speed and post-stall maneuverability is overrated in your eyes, then you can also try pulling the "Sitting Duck Maneuver", and let your enemies fly right by as you hover behind and rip them to shreds! (WARNING: VTOL NOT RECOMMENDED ABOVE 300 MPH!)
Speaking of PSM, the Crowhawk can certainly do that as its third feature, and without so much struggle in its controls. When PSM mode is activated, you can whip around the control stick all you want, and if you suddenly let go while in the air, she will immediately stabilize herself midair in order to protect you. A truly obedient bird indeed!
Situational Awareness
And much like the birds of the sky, perception is one of your most important tools in battle, which is where the fourth feature of this aircraft comes in to give you all the situational awareness you need! The pilot himself is equipped with the old-fashioned dials below, along with a search scanner, but what is displayed in front of him is the advanced hud, radar to his left, and aircraft diagnostics to his right. And if you thought that was advanced, there's also a 3D radar for the Co-Pilot behind to accurately pinpoint a target's direct position relative to the Crowhawk! (Radar is made by @ASBE .)
Multi-Range Capable
Let's also not forget the deadly side of this beauty, with its ability to effectively engage at any range, long or short!
Thanks to the auto-aiming miniguns aboard the aircraft, any pilot can arm those in the heat of a dogfight, and merely point the nose in the general direction of whichever foe they fight. Fire away, and as it tracks where the enemy is heading, those 20mm shells will tear through just about any plane they hit!
Of course, any advanced fighter would be caught dead without proper missiles to wield, which is exactly what this one has! Equipped with 4 of its "AIM-X-20 Rapier Missiles", all it takes is a bit of radar guidance, and these high G-pulling bad boys will hit anything no matter how maneuverable!
And what about long range? Well, does this Darling have you covered like a blanket! She is equipped with 8 medium-range missiles capable of reaching hypersonic speeds at a whopping range of 300 kilometers away, or approximately 200 miles! These missiles are called "AIM-6000 Sniper".
So, what are you waiting for? It doesn't matter whether you're a timid glider or a wildcard.
She has a little something for everyone to enjoy!

@ChadRod (ramjet)
@SkyJayTheFirst Oh yeah the ranked I think I got it now
@ChadRod look at aircraft instructions to figure out how to ramjet.
What about flying saucer v 1.0, it has boost that make it go 3k.mph while this go 500 mph.
@Embedd thanks! Glad you like this one. Don't worry, got a new project in the making.
what a glow up. even though I didn’t do anything, I feel so proud.
@SkyJayTheFirst not yet
@tarikGR it's all good. Who won that challenge, though?
@SkyJayTheFirst sorry the I closed the challenge.... Whatever, quit nice...
@SkyJayTheFirst
idk if I'll be available by then.
@GuyFolk still, you take much better pics than I ever could on my phone. Speaking of which, the B variant will be out soon with newly custom landing gear and slightly stronger engines to really make the Crowhawk stand out more. Would you be willing to take more once the time comes again?
@IceCraftGaming
Thanks.
@SkyJayTheFirst
My potato PC has big screen so resolution is high lol.
It's still image so I crank every graphic setting to max.
Nice man. I'm liking this one
@GuyFolk honestly, no offense to TRD, but you did a much better job than he did, I think, especially with the lighting and angles. And this is likely due to whatever device you use, but it's also very high definition, which makes it all the better.
@GuyFolk Ah ok, looks splendid though I must say
@IceCraftGaming
I'm not normally take screenshot request because my quality is low lol, no editing, no custom map, just vanilla game and Reshade.
SkyJayTheFirst insisted so here it is.
Love it
@SkyJayTheFirst well i also am useing a prehistoric phone so its not your fault if thats what you thought
@Robomo00119 dang, sorry to hear that, bro.
@SkyJayTheFirst yeah i tried it and my old s6 is not capable of holding any more than 600prts
@tarikGR is it too late to make submissions to the 5th gen challenge? Lol.
Nah, just kidding. This is more like 6th gen, anyway.
@Robomo00119 I mean, I made this entirely on my phone and it flies fine, as long as you don't have other complicated aircraft spawned in your sandbox mode.
This is Freaking awesome but i cant download my potato will explode
Amazing Iron Man styled cockpit, outstanding flight performance. Great job!
@Zaineman thanks for taging me to show such a great build
