YeastBoi's Model 100 Sloonie
Model 100 Sloonie is a subsonic, medium-range light bomber. It's a total rebuild of my Model 1, with all the techniques I've learned after building over a hundred other planes. It carries two Boom 50's in a very small bomb bay and two 3000hp turboprop engines with five propellers each. I took heavy inspiration from the de Havilland Mosquito when building this plane right down to the cockpit, and the paint scheme is a combination of aluminium silver, dark red, and an approximation of D-Day stripes.
The construction of this aircraft uses a stack of three fuselage pieces to near-seamlessly transition from the bomb bay to the rest of the fuselage. The horizontal stabilizers have a slight upward dihedral (not sure what it does; it just looks cool and legit), the wings and vertical stabilizers are 'rounded out', and it utilizes a rudimentary array of airplane lights.
Compared to the Model 1, the fight performance of the Sloonie has exceeded my hopes for the plane and has paved the way for numerous marks and variants. I will be uploading these in the coming weeks.
Note about dropping the bombs: I didn't put the bombs on pylons, so when dropping them, it's advisable to bleed your speed with the airbrakes.
VTOL Slider: neutral position closes bay doors. down position opens bay doors. up positions may destroy the plane
