SCALE About 1:1.6 - scale 1.6x with FineTuner for correct size. This was built before an appropriate scale was planned for ease of building.

[ ! ] Important notes in the USER MANUAL section regarding flight! Read before use.

The MCT Nova is a light space shuttle that, with the right fittings, can be used as a cargo, transport or troop deployment system. It can be used for planetary, inter-planetary and landing craft (between spaceships and planets) missions.

Marketed as a versatile and durable light cargo space shuttle, the MCT Nova series of VTOL space-capable hovercraft are frequently seen flying around solar systems. It is also used as part of delivery services in harder-to-access areas. It can be docked in many large spaceships.

The Nova series is simply characterized by its hexagonal shape formed by an engine on each side of the otherwise rectangular body.

MCT offers many variants for different uses. Customization options include frontal weapon swaps, grab bars on the top and sides, different cargo hold fittings and even a heavy weapon hardpoint on the top.

This is a basic variant with two plasma guns and a cargo hold for small objects. It also includes seating for 12.

Purchase:
The Nova-series spacecraft are available for purchase by anyone, including for personal use.
A 10-year warranty is provided with any purchase from official dealers. It does not cover user-inflicted damage, accidents and damage from combat.

--- USER MANUAL ---

( i ) This creation does not come with any gyro stabilization systems, whether mod-based or subassemblies.

CONTROLS:
Throttle - VTOL Engine
Roll - Roll
Pitch - Pitch
Yaw - Yaw
Trim - Trim Pitch
LandingGear - Landing Struts
FireGuns - Plasma Guns
AG8+VTOL - VTOL Engine Thrust Direction
AG1+VTOL - Plasma Gun Pitch
AG2+Throttle - Forward Thruster
AG3+Brake - Downward Propulsion (?)
AG6 - Door Warning Lights
AG7 - Main Lights, Navigation Lights

TAKEOFF PROCEDURE:
This takeoff procedure is to be taught to all users of this spacecraft. Its main function is for direct transition to Hover Flight or Slow Flight rather than Fast Flight.
1. Throttle up. Use about 30% for Earth gravity.
2. Use Roll, Pitch and Yaw to stabilize the spacecraft.
3. Retract the landing struts.
4. Pitch downwards a little to gain some speed.
5*. Slowly, simultaneously increase the throttle while moving the VTOL slider up. Use Pitch to maintain a proper pitching angle. Use Roll and Yaw if necessary.
6. Trim fully down. (You can actually do this earlier on) This will make flying easier.
7. AG2 for forward thrusters.
8. You are now in the air. Ayyyyyyy
( i ) Improvise on the steps when flying with different amounts of gravitational force.
( * ) It seems that Step 5 requires three hands. Deal with it.

IMPROVISED TAKEOFF PROCEDURE:
This alternative takeoff procedure is easier and is reminiscent of Star Wars. It allows for a direct, quicker transition to forward flight.
1. Throttle up. Gain a bit of altitude.
2. Stabilize the spacecraft.
3. Retract landing struts.
4. AG2 for forward thrusters and Trim slider down. Use Pitch to maintain stable pitch.
5. VTOL slider up.
6. Fly normally.

[ ! ] IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The landing struts generate huge amounts of drag. ALWAYS retract them before proceeding to forward flight, otherwise you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PITCH UP AT ALL.
2. DO NOT pitch too hard at low speeds of forward flight. You will flip around in the air or go into a sudden roll.
3. This creation is shaky when pitching at high speeds. (I blame turbulence)
4. The most efficient way to turn at (or near) top speed is at a 80% input of Pitch.
5. Gun Pitch affects the CoM of the spacecraft. Avoid extremes, as it will reduce the manouverability of the spacecraft during flight.

FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT:
- Try swapping out the engines with "rocket engines", or add a gyro system. Please note that the modified creation is for your own private use and cannot be re-released publicly.
- Download Mod Settings and Adjustable Gravity (both by HellFireKoder) and simulate landing on different planets. Use AG3+Brake to propel the craft downwards if required.

@AstleyIndustries the golden section or 1:1.6 is a number naturally found in plants and other things. It's used in architecture and engineering to make things look good. Look it up on google.

    1:1.6... That's the golden section.

This looks very nice. You should have just worked more on a flight model. It shakes at high speed, and is prone to spinning out at lower speed.
