Vertilifter

Who likes tailsitters? No one, unfortunately. But now you can fly this one. The vertilifter takes off straight up, then levels off into normal flight. On the ground, engage the propeller by pressing 1 and throttling up. Use pitch and roll to fire the RCNs in the tail during your ascent to keep the plane upright. At sufficient altitude, slowly let the nose dip forward as you build lateral speed. Once you are level, you can disengage the RCNs by pressing 8 and fly normally. Pressing two engages the VTOL thrusters which face straight back for speed boosts, but can face down to lift the nose quickly. To land, reduce power to 25, and glide in flat with gear extended. Over the airport, disengage the propeller by pressing 1. As you glide toward the ground, use 2 to fire the VTOL thrusters on and off to keep the nose up. Touch down as level as possible. To re-right the plane for another takeoff, throttle up to 70, and vector engine 2 straight down. When the plane becomes upright, quickly vector the nozzle in the opposite direction for a moment, then press 2 to shut it off. The plane is armed with 4 machineguns, and 3 interceptors.
