Introduction
FILIPINAS DINAGAT (IMO: 7227487) is a Ro-Ro/Passenger Ship that was built in 1972 (49 years ago) and is sailing under the flag of Philippines.
Incident
off the waters of Catmon, Cebu while en route to Palompon, Leyte on Thursday night (July 23, 2020) the ship caught on fire due to electrical failure. The shipping firm reported "huge damage" but said the captain and 47 crew members were all accounted for.
Shes neen scrapped but we still dont know if she will recover or continue being scrapped
