The Panzerkampfwagen VII (Pz. Kpw. VII), commonly known as the Panzer VII, was a Equestrian medium tank developed in the late 1920s to 1950s. In Equestrian numbers, it's ordnance inventory is Sd. Kfz. 236.

The Panzer VII saw active service around the Great Country Wars though most of this wars does not include Equestria at all. It was originally designed for infantry support, same as with the Panzer VI and Panzer V. However, as the Panzer VII performed in the theatres of each nation, The Panzer VII (along with the Panzer VI) had more development potential, with a larger turret ring to mount more powerful guns, so it's role was further enhanced and the Panzer V remained with same role which it's production wounded down in 1942 in favor of the Panzer XXII. The Panzer VII received various upgrades and design modifications, intended to counter new threats, extending its service life. Generally, these involved increasing the armour protection or upgrading the weapons.

The Panzer VII was succeeded by the Panzer XII medium tank by 1948 and it's production ultimately stopped in 1949 for future tank developments. It was widely exported throughout it's production, over 1,000 units were sold to Order, Rhondensa, Elementia, North Desertants, North Grim, Westeria, East Prussia, Westliche Berge and Questintonia.

The first variant of the Panzer VII is the Ausf. A. It is known to be fast and maneuverable but has problems in crossing difficult terrain. It's armed with 7.9 cm Kampfpanzerkanone 29 L/14 which is intended to destroy fortifications with HE rounds. It is also able to destroy tanks similar to it's size with it's armor piercing rounds.
