The 105mm M305A1 is a signficant rework to the original M305 howitzer, lightening the gun considerably and easing transport. The M305A1 is the primary regimental howitzer of the Paternian Armed Forces. Among the smallest howitzers in service, second to the 75mm Pack Howitzer (only as salute guns), it is fairly accurate and long-ranged, with a range of 5 miles with HE and 7 miles with ERFB shells.
