Well it’s finished, finally!
The Yak-38 was a naval VTOL fighter and attack aircraft during 70s and 80s flying off the decks of the Kiev designed by the Yakovlev design bureau.
Controls:
Trim: Trim
VTOL: VTOL nozzles
Ag1+Trim down: Fold wings and close vents for carrier storage
Ag7: drop ordnance
Ag8: RCS toggle
Landing Gear: landing gear, VTOL vent, VTOL stabilizer
Operation:
Takeoff: no real restriction just remember the stabilizer turns off when the gear is retracted.
Easy Landing method: line up 2-3 Mi away from landing target and start to drop throttle and altitude. Once within a mile turn nozzles to vertical and drop speed and altitude. Within .8 Mi lower landing gear and start to level off the altitude drop. Use around 40-58% throttle to hover and use the nozzles to make fine tune speed adjustments over the landing site. Slowly touch down :)
Have fun!
