I gave myself some specs to build a plane with and this is the raw prototype i came up with before actually refining it.

In 1940 Thomas Volnaar was contracted with building multiple fighter aircraft for the zetaan air force, one of which included the V-D.12 design. This aircraft was given some decently specific requirements which at the time seemed impossible to meet.

Thes requirements were,
- 500 kph at sea level
- great 360° visibility
- single seat
- 4 20mm canons
- able to take damage and come home
- not heavier then 3850 kg

After two years of development the D.12 prototype finally took its maiden flight in 1942 where it far exceeded any and all expectations of the aircraft, the zetaan airforce officials were so impressed that they instantly ordered a production run. And in just 4 months the first batch of 50 airframes were stationed on the front line now officially designated the V-D.12A-1
