Dolphin

Dolphin is a submarine with functioning interior in which you can now walk around. It has of course a functioning cockpit and is highly maneuverable with a top speed of 60 km/h.

The ocean mod is needed.

Instructions are in the craft instructions.
Setting the “Field Of View” to 75 gives a better cockpit view.
If the ocean mod does strange things, restart with cockpit view active.

Enjoy diving…

@Micmekox Did not know about the game, just looked it up and there is a little resemblance.
    Thanks for the upvote!

@Tsuchiisan thank you for seeing my point, and I do see yours, however I do believe that I must also conclude this discussion.

@Tsuchiisan @Bellcat you are correct, however you must keep in mind that there are light duty submarines that do not dive very deep, and something like that would not need a ton of heavy plating and heavy glass.

@Tsuchiisan Hmmm, I think calling a craft bad that works quite well under water and has some rare features is a bit harsh.
Besides, some submarines from different sci-fi shows look much more outlandish than this one.

@Bellcat Most Simple Planes creations would probably not work with realistic physics applied to them.
Glass canopy under water is always a bit of a problem in this game.
The front fins look detached because they turn for roll and pitch control. (Did you even try the craft under water?) There is no mention in the description that this craft is for exploration.
If you want a good looking plane, you should probably not download a submarine…

@hardy57, @50CalChicken, @Tsuchiisan, what I mean is if realistic physics, somehow, applied to the craft. For me, the glass canopy doesn’t look good underwater and may break under pressure. Furthermore, the fins appear a bit detached from the main fuselage and the propeller pods are not polished, causing drag. Submarines for exploration usually carry tools to allow for either research or to allow further exploration. This one does not, but I would give a pass; it’s up to you.
    .
For me, the fictional tag applies if the craft is fictional, and yes it is fictional, but that does not stop me from giving critique with realism. All I want are good looking planes with a good to great amount of realism, not good looking planes with little or no realism or have realistic defects.

@Bellcat I mean, technically he's right, the fictional tag is there, so take it from me, it works as a sub.

@Bellcat It has the tag "Fictional"!
At least it CAN really dive and maneuver under water...

I think this is a model that only works in fiction. Pressurized hulls need less glass and more thickness. An exploration submarine usually has a complement of equipment. Otherwise nice work.
