B-16 Dasher
Controls near bottom, they’re important
Story:
It is 1945 and the war is turning... for the axis. The b-25 was not keeping up with the demand. North American designed this, the B-16 in a 18 month contract with the U.S. Air Force. At first the Air Force doubted its ability because of its difficult landing characteristics and its un-defended underside. The Brits were the first to place an order of 8 of them in 1946. They soon released with the right configuration, it could be a great ground attack aircraft. They suggested adding 1 nose gun, 2 under wing cannons, (all in a fixed position), 14 rockets and an armored underside. The U.S. Took these suggestions and found the plane as a great ground attacker, despite the high takeoff and landing speed.
Pilots Info:
Rotation Speeds
- No Flaps = 250 mph
- 1/2 Flaps = 215 mph
- Full Flaps = 175 mph
Inflight speeds (All recorded with 100% throttle)
- 1000ft = 405 mph
- 5000ft = 432 mph
- 10000ft = 466 mph
- 20000ft = 536 mph
- 30000ft = 600 mph
Stall Speed (The stall is greater it is at higher altitude, even with flaps down)
- Around 130-170
Dive Speed
- Max recorded 514 at 75 degree dive with full throttle
- Max recorded 343 at 75 degree dive with 0 throttle
Takeoff
- Vtol half or full down, it’s up to you.
- Throttle to 100% and pull up
- Depending on flap settings, should pull off the ground at 175-215 mph
Landing
- Come in at 190 - 200
- When runway clearly in view and you lined up, cut back power to 160-170
- Touch down at 120-130
- Brake, but do it cautiously. It tends to tip over and hit its wing tips and propellers
Controls:
- Flaps
-Vtol down
- Movement
-Standard controls for pitch, roll, yaw, etc.
- Bomb Bay
-Ag1
- Turrets (All turrets use Roll and Pitch to move and have a corresponding gyro, I recommend turning all the turrets on for maximum protection and stability)
-Ag2 nose guns (Camera 1-2)
-Ag3 top turret (Camera 3)
-Ag4 waits guns (Camera 4-5)
-Ag5 tail turret (Camera 6)
- Armament
-Ag 2-5 activates the defensive guns, stated above
-Ag 7 activates the offensive guns, small wing mounted
bombs, and rockets
Main bombs are armed with Ag1

- @BogdanX - Also help with the wings and color pallet (follow the predecessors)
- @BogdanX - Again for the rockets and the rails mounting them
End Notes
- I got what I wanted, a nice looking bomber that has multi purpose
- I would have liked a lower stall and landing speed but I get what I get
- This is my first build with these colors, credit to
@BogdanX
- Over all, this is probably my best build, I would rate it 8/10, only because of the landing factor
- I had a lot of fun making this, I hope you have just as much fun as I did building this flying
Enjoy!

@Majakalona Brainrot
OMG MARIO KART B-DASHER!!!!
Hmmm and then a gyro to disable the control surfaces. Sure i will try that
@CRJ900Pilot
Yeah, I think so. In your case I would link them all to one AG and they each have their own cameras. This way you can follow the enemy no matter where it’s attacking you from @QingyuZhou
Okay I get what you mean lol. Excellent turrets!!
Nice! The skull is from reallouchen9999’s F-14 I’m pretty sure. Probably the most famous subassembly on the website lol
Yes I thought about that but it’s to much work converting it@breitling
this looks like a plane that would be a sub hunter
Yeah it's fake @danman12
This is fake right, this plane never existed, this story makes it sound real, nice job
@HockeyGoalie21 thx
Oh ok @Pim2407
Im busy right now remaking one of my old ones @CRJ900Pilot
@Pim2407 When are you going to build something?
@Pim2407 thx
nice bud @CRJ900Pilot
But 31 compared to the the 60 or something they got @ThePrototype
Like I said, you just had to give it some time :)
Thx! @longlonglong
Good job!
Thanks @RailfanEthan
Sweet beans
How? @Gestour
hey, das not bad
@Franticmatty thanks! Could you please do a vid with it?
