FM-28-1 Serenade
Osea did well!
Introduction: The FM-28-1 "Serenade" is an Osean multirole fighter with extremely high payload capacity, mobility and speed. It is armed with a 25mm main machinegun, 4 LRAAMs, 2 Air to Ground Missles and 1 small size Cruise Missle.
Development: Developmemt for this plane started in 1995, a few months after the end of the Belkan War. The idea was to replace older. F20A Tigersharks and F4E Phantom 2s. The first operational prototype from the final version of the aircraft was unveiled in July 2001, after the Ulysses asteroid impacts. According to the OADF, it showed great promise.
Here are a few lines of the speech given by the project manager: "The Serenade is a powerful tool for Osean and its allies. Through extenssive testing, prototyping and data collection, this aircraft is trully one of the best Generation 4.5 jets out there. It has learned to face its problems head on!"
In 2004 it entered mass production, however, due to the Usean Continental War, production ceased to avoid accusation from Erusia that those planes were meant to support ISAF, which would have ruined Osea's neutrality during the conflict. Only 122 aircraft were manufactured.
Controls: Standard plane controls.
VTOL for flaps.
AG1and 2 to launch LRAAMs.
AG3 to launch ATG missles.
AG4 to launch cruise missle.
AG5 for hook.
P.s: The paint scheme kinda looks a Minardi.
