North AmericanF-86 Sabre "Golden Eagle"
NO XML WAS USED IN THE CREATION OF THIS AIRCRAFT, IT IS A REPLICA WITH A FICTIONAL BACKSTORY. 1 to drop fuel tanks. This is the 1952 version of the F-86 Sabre flown by Stanley Godwin. Godwin flew multiple missions throughout the war over north and south Korea, destroying 7 enemy aircraft overall, including 4 MiG-15s. the three kill marks displayed on this 1952 version of the aircraft are of three MiG-15s which he downed while in a formation of over 16 Sabres. The formation was searching for enemy aircraft in the area, as sightings had reported that Russsian jet fighters were in the area. They encountered a large formation of IL-10s and attacked, but soon it became apparent that it was a trap. Eight MiG-15s dove straight out of the sun onto the Sabres. Two or three were destroyed when the MiGs first came down, and Godwin started to tail one that was diving below the IL-10 formation. He destroyed it as well as two other MiGs distracted with taking down the other Abres. Overall, 7 Sabres were lost in the fight, and 13 IL-10s and 6 MiGs. This is the paint job given to the aircraft after that air battle, the golden eagle camoflauge comes from a black and yellow eagle pendant found on one of the dead norht korean pilots. @Deloreandude noice
@ForeverPie Its nothing really, i honestly expected to get like 4 upvotes for this XD. However, like always, my expectations on Simpleplanes are totally reversed. It's just a matter of taking fuselage blocks making them hard on both ends and .25 in height. Just do that over and over on the wings and make it colorful. Also, add lots of tiny parts for detail, unless its a sleek aircraft. Though it may sound impossible, you can make parts intersect, and make sure they stand out by using a contrast color. For this one, it was yellow and gold. Just have a bright and dark color, or more than one. Markings are always good too (victory marks, squadron logos, flag decals, etc.
wow
