Space Dragon was a spaceplane developed by the National Adminstration of Astronautics for Iswa (NAAI) in 1956. The project proposed that a intercontinental space bomber was to takeoff from the water, since water encompasses most of the planet; land does not. The project was terminated in 1961, since the people who worked on the project realized that just a normal bomber could do the Space Dragon's job, and that it could it in much more numbers.

Also, the missiles may not work when taking off from the water.
