@mikoyanster Thanks for the invitation!
You are invited to participate in the 1st Jetfighter Challenge! Your creations have the level to participate, please take a look. Thank you
This is a beautiful creation you have here. I love the scimitar IRL too.
@brians1209 ook
@ZWLenning Yes. I used the gunsight from my last post, but kinda resized and added more details to it.
looks brilliant! also... might I recognise that gunsight maybe??? (totally not a hint)
@CharlesDeGaulle Thank you!
Nice plane.
@Blue0Bull Thank you!
@Tang0five Thanks! Your Scimitar was very helpful for my build.
@MobileFriendly takeoff strop/bridal. They were ditched on takeoff. These were the first generation heavy naval aircraft so there was a lot of unknowns especially with small aircraft carriers (hence why so many were involved in accidents). Beautiful aircraft, well represented here.
@MobileFriendly The long black sticks? It's for catapult launching. The scimitars needed it for an extra angle of attack to take off from a carrier. You can see the image here
Just asking, what is that below front gear?
@BogdanX I used hollow fuselage, but they are located at a very different position and it makes the front look ugly
@BogdanX oh, I covered it because I overlapped two hollow fuselages two make the royal navy scheme
@PointlessWhyshouldi @ollielebananiaCFSP thank you!
Very smooth
this is a beautiful Scimitar that we have here, take your tea and prepare for the flight !
