Avia-SR AV.F/A-06
The Avia-SR AV.F/A-06 (Aviation, Fighter/Attacker, Model 06), nicknamed Arsene, is a World War II-era Aleuztian jet-powered, all-weather fighter aircraft.
Developed with strict requirements for the Aleuztian Air Defense Force, the Arsene had distinctive twin booms and a central nacelle containing the cockpit.
The Arsene was used for a multitude of tasks such as interception, high-altitude bombing, dive bombing, ground attack, night fighting operations, reconnaissance and pathfinding to list a few.
It was one of the most, if not, the most advanced aircraft of it's time and for several decades to come, being equipped with features such as afterburning turbojets, thrust vectoring, air-to-air/surface missiles and a fully solid-state FCR.
It was supplied to and operated by a number of states during World War II, and served with several other countries for decades after the war.
It has been used recently against Somali Pirates by the Imperial Syllixian Air Force, most of the time only with drop tanks and a loaded 47.3mm Autocannon as it has been found to be quite effective against their converted armed fishing vessels.
Origins:
Several years before the beginning of World War II, the relatively young nation of Aleuztia experienced a great economic boom, giving rise to a sudden leap in asset, stocks and real estate prices.
During this time, the Aleuztian MoD was keen to take advantage of the period and saw this as an opportunity to replace their antiquated aerial fleet, wherein the bulk of it was composed by Fokker D.XIIIs and a limited number of P-26s.
The AMoD issued an immediate replacement order for the AADF fleet with a variety of requirements, most of which were unheard of and/or at their infancy, which were:
- Equipped with a compact radar system, capable of tracking bomber and fighter-sized targets at a range of 20 kilometers.
- Equipped with internal 12.7mm machine guns and an autocannon of 40mm and above.
- Equipped with an ejector seat.
- Equipped with systems to identify allied from hostile aircraft.
- Equipped with systems to fire air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles.
- Powered by turbojet unit/s capable of no less than 5,000lbf
- A service ceiling of more than 15,000m
- A service ceiling of 12,000m with one inoperable engine
- A range of 200mi/322km on internal fuel
- Can be easily launched from carriers and be readily convertible for carrier use.
- Can reach and/or surpass 770mph/1240kmh.
- Can reach and/or surpass 820mph/1320kmh for swift interception.
After the issuance of the order, most aircraft manufacturers such as Haikka Aerial Manufacturing and Kaishi ARDG deemed the requirements "preposterous" "impossible" and "plain madness."
However, in June 2, 1937, a company under the name of Avia-SR dared to answer the MoD's request, and so, began it's development.

Had a tendency to spontaneously explode but other than that, this is one of the best aircraft I’ve ever had the the honor of flying.
Best plane
It’s a A-10 but fighter compatible
@RiseNClimb3
Finally, someone who got it
Reminds me of Persona 5
"when you just have to slap tons of guns... to make guns."
This is my new favorite plane now, it’s like the A-10 but on steroids
P-38 + ⚙️Modern Engineering⚙️ = ⬆️
