Auto Credit Based on UnguidedCylinder's GH.1 Thunderbolt MBT

The GH.45A2 is a third-generation main battle tank of the Royal Nyr Vaulish Military. Named Thunderbolt, it replaced ageing GH.36A3s and introduced several technological advances such as the utilization of the Mk.90 RM communication system, the Barricade Active Protective System, and an autoloader which brings the crew complement down to 3 instead of the usual 4. The Thunderbolt, even though with one less crewman, is the largest, heaviest, and fastest tank of the RNVM. It first saw use during the Second Continental War and all major conflicts that came after it. The main armament is the G130mm/45 smoothbore gun and can fire several ammunition types, the two equipped being high-explosive and basic shells. Similar to Russian T-90s, the Thunderbolt utilizes infrared ATGM jammers attached to the front of the turret. The Thunderbolt also has depleted uranium in key areas and some under the ERA. The chassis of the Thunderbolt has been used for other vehicles such as the Maelstrom SPAA, and the Fog-Boar Joint Assault Bridge.

“Custom Recoil”

I made it less bouncy and less drifty than the first one, but it still drifts so be careful.

I wasn’t satisfied with the first version, so I redid it. The gun can fire both basic and HE shells. Enjoy

Nah I don’t think it’s your build that’s off, it looks pretty on par with the original, but again a lot of tanks are not going to ricochet anyway, using the rounds we use it’s mostly all about thickness of armor, @UnguidedCylinder

@Zanedavid thanks! And yes that be true about the shell ricocheting into the hull, I was taking inspiration from Russian tanks and the gap on mine is pretty big, actually it was pretty worse as my earlier build has the turret ring completely exposed. Since this is an early variant I could always make a newer and better one with armor to cover that gap

It’s funny because if a shell hit the lower plating or the turret, itd ricochet right into the hull...or possibly into the ring....like why was this designed that way?
