RLC "Ketchup bottle" 45 Ton

105k RailfanEthan  7.6 years ago

*** Custom made locomotive.

Name meaning: RLC stands for Railfan Locomotive Company, a pioneer in railroading technology. The term "Ketchup Bottle" refers to the original/default color scheme (may be changed by request), and the 45 ton means how much weight in rolling stock may be hauled - not the weight of this locomotive.

Ketchup bottles have been used in North & South America for narrow gauge (mostly 2ft) railroads. They feature dual viewing cabs, for easier work. Work for these microbeasts include yard operations, freight, passenger, MoW, mining, lumber, and any other duty. The gas electric engine allows the operator to purchase average car fuel, and be poured in. Helpful for cheap and cost saving companies.

Controls:
1 is front light
2 is rear light
3 is yard beacon
8 activates/deactivates engine
Roll steers
Trim is throttle
Brake is brake.
