Airbus (Formula's Edit)
For the "Livery Challenge".
[I couldn't help myself :( I saw that I could make some quick improvements and personally had to just so I could then go about properly painting it. Didn't want to keep it to myself, so that others can opt to use it as well if they want.]
(I'll fully understand if doing so exempts me from the challenge!)
EDIT: Things I FAILED to make sure were sorted out, in my haste to get this uploaded --
- The Left Engine Nacelle did not mirror the attachment points to the wing, so it falls off if you try to fly (not a big deal, for this is for a Livery challenge)
- The Left Wing's inboard control surface is not set to Pitch
- The Right Wing's inboard control surface needs to be inverted.
- The Engine's power is stock (scalar of 1), even though they're 2x the size; however, due to the substantially lighter weight of this plane, it will take off in roughly 50ft of runway lol (Likely due to the plane being smaller/lighter than reality, and I left the engine power alone since they matched an A330's thrust... though, maybe Wiki's listing for "Thrust" was the Total output, not per-engine?? If that's the case, then fly at 50% throttle or modify each engine to be 0.5!)
Refinements to:
-the fuselage
-wing blending portion (I had to remove those thin inner-fuselage pieces because when the wing flexes after spawning, it would clip horribly through the wing)
-tail
-added second rear gear
-slight nose cone elongation
-wing angling (~1.5deg-ish? upwards)
-added engines
-removed a control surface directly behind the engines... (Colored control surfaces just to illustrate for people).
