The SRT02B was an unexpectedly fast straight-line car. During a test at Imola, the SRT02B Prototype car routinely hit 210mph on the main straight. It's issues, however, lay in the horrible handling of the tail-heavy V12 Monster. These issues , along with inexperienced drivers, lead to the car not scoring a single point, even when it should have scored at least 5 due to its speed. It set a speed record at Monza that year, of 224.6mph, which would not be broken until the Keniss T15 hit 235mph at Mount Panorama just a few years later.
