Boeing 727-200LR (Ansett Australia)
Link to my original 727-100 in TAA colours
This is a minor rework of my 727 I released a few days ago. It is now a 727-200, with a longer fuselage, and is now in the colours of Ansett Australia Airlines. For those unaware, Ansett Australia was a airline that operated between 1936-2002. It operated both the 727-100 and -200 between 1964, and the Late 1990s. This Aircraft, VH-ANA, was the first of 4 727-200LRs ordered as new aircraft by Ansett. The aircraft actually had the honor of operating the final commercial flight out of Brisbane’s old Eagle Farm airport on March 19th, 1988. The following day, it operated the first service out of the new Brisbane Airport, as Ansett flight 77. 4 years later, on July 4th, 1992, this aircraft suffered and uncontained engine failure in engine 2 (The tail-mounted engine) on take-off Brisbane. The flight returned to Brisbane and landed, and was subsequently evacuated. The plane was repaired and flew with Ansett retired the 727 in 1994. It was then converted to a freighter, and sold to DHL, and they leased to various airlines, including TransAustralian Air Express, and they registered it as VH-VLI, and flew with them until 2008. It was then sold to Airmark Asia, and it’s fate from there on is a bit vague.

@Salah001XTripleVage Yes there is. It was special variant order specifically by Ansett. They ordered 4, of which VH-ANA was one of them. As the suffix implies, it had extra fuel capacity, and thus longer range

There Is No Such Thing As "Boeing 727-200LR"
@SilverStar Thank you. Improving my liveries had been my primary focus on my last few builds
@ZacOnTrack Nice job on the livery tho, it's beautiful
@SilverStar Ok, thanks for that, I'll make sure to change it in future builds
Not bad, but the reverse thrust is useless considering the braking force of the wheels (you can edit it with XML)
