Introductions of XJ-200 (from XAircraftManufacturer)

The XJ-200 (NATO reporting name: "Caesar") was a trijet airliner, developed in 1956. The aircraft could carry about 155 passengers in a 2 - 3 cabin layout. It only needed 2 pilots to operate, which was very rare on early jets.

After the failure of the XJ-137, the Hungarian government wanted an other jet to be created, that would prove the world the reliability of Hungarian engineering. Aeroflot and MALÉV quickly wanted to replace these small and incredibly unreliable jets, so the new plane had to be made soon. The first XJ-200 prototype (registered HA-ABA) took off from Budapest on August 24. 1958, and flight tests progressed quickly. In total 4 prototype aircraft were used in testing. One of the planes attended the Paris Air Show of 1959, where it impressed the western observers, the audience, and even some airlines. The first passenger service was operated by MALÉV on August 25. 1960. In 1975 the XJ-200B was introduced, which was a small conversion that included wingtips, and a larger fuel tank. In the same year the first XJ-200F took to the skies, which was also a converted aircraft.

Introductions about Czech airlines (or Czechoslovak Airlines at before)

Czech Airlines (abbreviation: CSA, Czech: Ceské Aerolinie, a.s.) is the flag carrier of the Czech Republic. Its head office is located in the Vokovice area of Prague's 6th district and its hub is Václav Havel Airport Prague. The company mainly operates scheduled flights, serving three destinations as of 2023.

When, in 2018, 97.74% of Czech Airlines was bought by the privately owned Smartwings, CSA became a part of the Smartwings Group. The remaining 2.26% of CSA was owned by insurance company Ceská Pojištovna. The airline runs a frequent flyer programme called "OK Plus" in reference to the airline's International Air Transport Association designation, as well as the term of approval; OK also featured prominently in its previous livery, and is the prefix of Czech Republic aircraft registrations. It is a member of the SkyTeam alliance.

CSA is the fifth oldest airline in the world, after Dutch KLM (1919), Colombian Avianca (1919), Australian Qantas (1920), and Soviet/Russian Aeroflot (1923). It was the first airline in the world to fly regular jet-only routes (between Prague and Moscow).

CSA filed for bankruptcy in March 2021 and went through an extensive business restructuring, exiting in June 2022. Currently, CSA is under a new ownership structure with a new parent company called Prague City Air s.r.o. owning 70% of the company, with Smartwings retaining the remaining 30%. The airline currently operates flights from Prague to two destinations.

Trivia:

In the operations lists by XAircraftManufacturer, Czechoslovak Airlines was not one of the operators, so this livery is an alternative livery.
