Rotary Bomb Pod (For noahlizard7)

17.2k greasytortle  6.8 years ago
Auto Credit Based on noahlizard7's B-1 Lancer

A rotary weapon mount for aircraft like the B-1 Lancer and the B-2 Spirit. I scaled the weapons down in size and mass by 50% and they're all angled in increments of 60 degrees. You can copy this to your sub assemblies by taking off the yellow legs and pulling it from the circular front plate.

AG1: Drops bomb 1 and rotates to bomb 2
AG2: Drops bomb 2 and rotates to bomb 3
AG3: Drops bomb 3 and rotates to bomb 4
AG4: Drops bomb 4 and rotates to bomb 5
AG5: Drops bomb 5 and rotates to bomb 6
AG6: Drops bomb 6 and doesn't rotate ;)

Enjoy!

@Shanethepain1 I could give that a try. You'd have to make sure that the parts connect properly so the cylinder moves. You could probably scale the rockets up in weird ways so they look like pistol rounds.

Make it for rockets so I can make a revolver

Great creation I just simply put a covering over it and made it a subassembly.

@noahlizard7 I'd say use the transform tool to nudge connected parts into the aircraft

Anyone know how I could integrate this into an already built plane?

@BigDoggo They're the "Small Rotator" block. I used the Overload Mod to "disableBaseMesh" and get rid of that boxy vented part. I also scaled them down a bit to look nicer.

@Texasfam04 Thanks! I'm planning to scale it down and make a Talon from the movie "Stealth"
