The Tadpole is a light spacecraft mainly used for search operations or patrolling areas. It features a blocky, single-seater design. The cockpit opens up from the back.
Medium weapon hardpoints are available on the sides of the spacecraft. A light hardpoint can be added under the cockpit, great for a weapon or camera.
Its body and engine wass designed for space operation only, thus limiting its speed and manouverability in atmosphere. The body has no wings and has poor aerodynamics, limiting flight to computer-assisted hovering at high atmospheric pressure. The forward propulsion is thus disabled for safety reasons.
Despite its aerodynamic flaws, it has grab bars that are useful (in space only) for hauling goods or increasing the crew capacity (do not try this at home).

Love the design. Had a very hard time controlling it. Weould reccomend allowing the vtol jets to change direction for better forward flight
