Auto Credit Based on Sketchy1945's Vanguard Industries SL-01 Mk1 Rain-Maker [BASE MODEL]
to combat the fresh threat posed by quasi-jet bombers, Rome retrofitted it's air-defence Daedalus' with mixed-fuel rockets, which gave them the speed to attack even the fastest enemy threat. this speed however came at a cost; fuel. The Daedalus had enough fuel to get to 40,000 feet and stay there for 5 minutes, but then had to glide back down to land afterwards. during it's glide it was beyond vulnerable. Rome NEEDED a breakthrough. for more on the story behind this aircraft, check out my blog post, and the descriptions of my previous aircraft :)
