First off, CONTROLS
AG1 = Electrical Power, turns on lights. This is necessary for engine startup.
AG2 = Hydraulics, allows the plane to maneuver properly.
AG3 = Low Visibility lights, allows plane to see terrain and other objects and airbases easier, especially in fog or at night.
AG8 = Engine Fuel controls, allows the engine to combust gas and make thrust. This is necessary for engine startup.
The engine is the powerful GE J47-GE-33 afterburning engines also found on the F-86D/K/L, producing 5,550 lbf thrust.

Next, we have LORE
This is Curtiss-Wright’s (fictional) F-87. It’s a plane built off the P-55 Ascender, and is a huge contender against MiGs. After the XF-87 design was ditched, this was quickly built with extreme doubt from the militaries of Canada, the US, the UK, South Africa, West Germany, and South Korea. The plane’s performance is pretty comparable to the F-86A in speed, but in maneuverability and armament, similar to the MiG-15. Late prototypes were used in the Korean War and from then, the airframe proved itself as South Korea won, with majority kills going to Dagger pilots. It was used in the Vietnam War as the F-4 proved ineffective against the MiG-21. Luckily this let Curtiss-Wright stay in plane production until 1997, when Boeing acquired it with McDonnell Douglas. Curtiss-Wright is still half-independent, making its own planes, engines, and cockpit parts with Boeing’s help with funding and miscellaneous tasks.

The buzz number prefix (e.g. FU-834, FU- for F-86s) is FN after the F-80/P-80 recoded to FT. Buzz numbers usually include a prefix meaning the type of aircraft and the last 3 serial numbers following that.
The buzz number chart is here.
