WC-204 'Caravel'
𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷
Hello, It has been quite a while hasn't it? After a few months of putting off projects in SP I have finally finished this little GA build. This airplane is a light collaboration with @MrSilverwolf who provided paint advice, detailing and overall emotional support. This airplane is also a celebration of me getting my private pilot license. This is a low wing T-tail GA build taking aspects from many planes I have experience I with in the flesh. The cockpit and nose are based on the Cessna 172 and the T-tail/large windows are taken from Diamond aircraft. This is my first more serious GA build and it was quite a fun plane to make!

This plane totes a decently realistic FM although I decided not to model things like P-factor and such since I preferred an easier and more keyboard friendly interface. Rotation speed is around 50-55kts. Best climb is around 70-74. Stall speed is at around 45kts and maximum cruising speed is 120kts.

I know, just restart, it seems to be a bug/glitch with the plane, I do not have a fix other than restarting unfortunately. @TheLurkingVexedVortex
The bottom left landing gear tends to break often. https://i.postimg.cc/ZY8QL6FP/Screenshot-72.png
It’s wonderful.
Looks and flies gorgeously man. It feels almost likes a powered glider
Thank you, glad you enjoy them 🙂 @DrFoxgaming
hey @thecatbaron how are you, i found you about a year ago on your uss beast controler post which is crazy how it works ( I actually edited it to make the ship fly) I just wanted to tell you how awesome you are and how much i love your posts.
I fly in these often at my flight club and I can honestly say this is the best and most realistic replica of this plane I have ever seen by a huge amount, I honestly cant compliment your build enough
My iPad will not forgive me after this...
Incredible! I love your aircraft! Congrats on acquiring your PPL also! Could you do some more GA aircraft? Or perhaps something like an Aero-Commander 500B or GAF Nomad?
Thanks man, on to instrument!!! @ChiChiWerx
Congrats on the PPL!
Can you make various versions of the plane , like a turbocharged engine model, or a glass cockpit version
@NintendosmasterpieceMARIO Piper tomahawk*
@VChart
You use it to check the engine's oil.
Ooooo, I LOVE this. This is a GA plane and it has good detail and quality, well done :D
what is oil dipstick? how to use it?
This is an adorable plane!
Wow! I love the detail of the flaps not working when the engine is off. That’s something that never would have occurred to me
Nice !
Oh I didn't know you uploaded this lol nice
this is definitely Microsoft FSX 2020, not SimplePlanes
Congratulations!
