The Panzerkampfwagen IV (PzKpfw IV), commonly known as the Panzer IV, was a German medium tank developed in the late 1930s and used extensively during the Second World War. Its ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 161.

The Panzer IV was not originally intended to engage enemy armor—that role being allocated to the Panzer III. However, with the inadequacy of the Panzer III becoming apparent and in the face of Soviet T-34 tanks, the Panzer IV soon assumed the original role of its increasingly vulnerable cousin. The most widely manufactured and deployed, fully turreted German tank of the Second World War (not including Germany's main assault gun) at some 8,500 examples, the Panzer IV was used as the base for many other fighting vehicles, including the Sturmgeschütz IV assault gun, Jagdpanzer IV tank destroyer, the Wirbelwind self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, and the Brummbär self-propelled gun.

The Panzer IV saw service in all combat theaters involving Germany and was the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout the war, with over 8,800 produced between 1936 and 1945. Upgrades and design modifications, intended to counter new threats, extended its service life. Generally, these involved increasing the Panzer IV's armor protection or upgrading its weapons, although during the last months of the war, with Germany's pressing need for rapid replacement of losses, design changes also included simplifications to speed up the manufacturing process.

@Waemoth oh never mind lol solved it :p noo, for the flak project, I'm thinking of making the flak launch bombs coated in fuselage and detonate it airborne, pretty much just like a flak :p

@ChaMikey So you want to detach it upwards from a plane?

@Waemoth like how do you propel it upwards without using rockets or engines?

@ChaMikey Are you trying to use the bomb as a rocket? I don't understand what you mean.

@ChaMikey Alright, I think the A-2 was my first tank in SP, It got hard to build on with it since I used so many structual panels.

@ChaMikey Thanks, when I look at it I think I messed up the middle section of the front though. I have something based on this coming up (probably sometime next week).

@Pilotmario Alright. I'll probably do a few different versions of this sooner or later, but I (and probably almost everyone else too) is fed up with Pz IV, so that'll have to wait :)

@MaleticAirplanes Thanks, the earlier ones weren't all that good (Panther especially), but I have gotten a lot better at the game, and started to XML edit and nudge, which in combination with moving from Android to PC makes a huge difference.

@Waemoth just go for it. I really like your tanks, one can clearly see the effort.

@Seeras @MaleticAirplanes @ShatterFox @DestinyAviation @FiguredFC @TehDuck @Overland @Hadesrocksz Thanks for the upvotes! The Cromwell (A27M) is probably going to be my next problem, do you think it's a good idea? Got really tired of having pieces angled in multiple directions, the turret of this was painful to make.
