JBoats J/30
The J/30 is a racer/cruiser sailing Keelboat developed to provide more comfort for coastal cruising while maintaining a high level of sailing performance to make for a competitive racer.
Although the majority of boats are located on the United States east coast, there are fleets across the country and J/30's can be found around the world. Built to be competitive around the buoys, there are active fleets from the gulf coast to the north east which hold regular One-Design racing, culminating in a North American Championship held in the fall of every year.
The replica features new sailing tech enabling more stable courses, more realistic looks in game and steering trough the actual rudder rather than a gyro. It can also handle wind speeds of 130mph and more!
Instructions:
- start with no wind
- put wind to 25mph or less and put VTOL up (wind heading 90° relative to your craft works best, wind from behind is fine of course)
- put wind to ~45mph until you pick up forward momentum (takes a moment)
- put wind up to your desired anmount and start sailing
