Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's PDI Ardent M6 MBT

Controls same as Ardent M6. The first actions involving the M6 were overwhelmingly positive, providing a more heavily armored tank with just as much mobility, for the same cost. However, the M6 did have several issues. The driver's vision port was a weakspot, and several drivers have been killed by direct hits to the viewport by anti-material rifles. The commander's cupola was not particularly comfortable, provided poor egress for the loader (who entered through the same hatch), and could be dislodged by HE hits with the commander inside, with gruesome results. Finally, the turret ring was a shot trap, where even a non-penetrating hit could lock up the turret. As a result, several fixes were made. The driver's position moved further back, and his direct vision viewport was replaced by a periscope. The troublesome cupola was deleted, replaced by a simple hatch with vision blocks in the hatch. A provision for a .50 caliber pintle-mounted gun was provided. The gunner was provided his own hatch. The vehicle's fundamental mechanical layout was unchanged.

@PINK I do not think "Territory" denotes a sovereign nation.

Light fighters. Or as we call them, target practice for FL-20 Super Shava, F-3D Dart, A-3D Hummingbird, and F-7D Viper. @Areonautics3

Those are fighter jets, fighter-bombers, attack planes, attack helicopters, SPAAG, MANPADS, snipers on cliffs in concealed positions, and machine guns on high-angle mounts.

Yes, Marine snipers are trained to hit flying targets such as helicopters, though some are good enough to take down planes.

You sure about that? Because if there is one thing the Skysweeper and the M35 give to enemy aircrew, it's a brown pants moment. @Areonautics3

The M3 mount is a foldable and collapsible wide-stance tripod with a post to bring it at a sufficient height that a standing man could aim the gun at low and high elevations. The M3 tripod is 1.5m tall, and the legs are heavily sandbagged. However, some field units retrofit vehicles with the M3 mount by welding them to the machine.

The M4 mount is a simple 0.75m post welded to the roof of a tank. The M4A1 mount is just like the M4 except it uses a 1.5m post and is employed on truck beds and jeep floors. Sometimes the M4 mount is shortened in the field in order to make the commander less exposed when using it. These mounts are retroactively classified as M4A2 as a catch-all term for modified M4 and M4A1 mounts, as well as M3 mounts fixed to jeeps and trucks. The new M4A3 mount is a telescoping height-adjustable mount for use on tanks. All mounts are referred to as M4 mount in description.

The mount depicted in the M26 (aka K-26) is an M2 Low-Elevation Tripod Manual Mount, a lower profile mount for defensive positions, often heavily sandbagged. @PINK

That's a lot of weapons. I'm sure the escorts and itself can blast those to oblivion. The escorts are Pelican light fighters.@Pilotmario

We employ some lasers for light missile and drone defense. (An actual thing being made by Rhinemettal) @Pilotmario

We are also exploring using lasers as weapons. Currently we employ them as rangefinders and target markers. @PINK

We will note that lasers are nearly, if not already deployed on some American and European warships. They are, from what I can recall, 10-20 industrial lasers pointed towards the center of a concave mirror....or 10-15 simply mounted in a circular shape that is simply pointed at a circle. I believe they can end most aircraft and missiles. @Pilotmario

@MikuKat A bit too futuristic IMO. Technology like railguns and coilguns exist, and within a few decades they will be practical weapons.

Antimatter, although only available in small quantities and is incredibly dangerous, holds potential as well for use in power generation and weaponry.

Correct me if I'm wrong, your ion cannon does not even exist anywhere but the pages of science fiction. I have no indication what "Solar Energy" implies, whether it be visible light, the UV energy, the IR energy, etc.
