Cessna 208B Super Cargomaster (FedEx Feeder)

120k ACEPILOT109  4.8 years ago

The Cessna 208 Caravan is a utility aircraft produced by Cessna. The project was commenced on November 20, 1981, and the prototype first flew on December 9, 1982. The production model was certified by the FAA in October 1984 and its Cargomaster freighter variant was developed for FedEx. The 4 ft (1.2 m) longer 208B Super Cargomaster first flew in 1986 and was developed in the passenger 208B Grand Caravan.

Activation Group 1 : Navigation Lights (Wing Tip)
Activation Group 2 : Strobe Lights
Activation Group 3 : Anti-Collision (Tail)
Activation Group 4 : Landing Lights
VTOL : Flaps (Down)
Trim : Trim
Normal Flight Controls

Note:
When “roll” is inputed air-brakes will deploy like in the real airplane, this helps offset adverse yaw.

The aircraft (in my opinion) is a STOL but in the form of a FedEx plane so it can land pretty much anywhere, USS Beast, mountain tops, etc. so make sure to try that out and use flaps for better performance.

Make sure try our the STOL characteristics, and fly at night with the fully working lights! Never to dark to fly! This aircraft has fixed gear so no worries about it! It also has air-brakes with the roll control to counteract adverse yaw. This plane was a lot of fun to make and I hope you have fun flying!

This plane was going to be really good but I ended up getting it to this point, without the N numbers, radios, etc. so I’m sorry, I simply lost my train of thou... building? So yeah, it’s still a super good airplane and if I post a new one later I’ll put a redirect link so yeah. Sorry about that but I have a lot more planes I want to make and this has waited 15 days without and modifications so I decided just to let it go!

Yes, and that’s a good thing, I was completely sold that this was a perfect Platinum quality build. That is a very good thing @ACEPILOT109

@Chancey21 hey I was thinking back and you said "I almost spotlighted it because of how selling it was" does that mean you think I 'click baited' you?

Thank you, I originally was going to make the STOL version but made it FedEx. I did research but I’m not very good at making speeds realistic or whatever. Still, i suck at logos and letters. I would fix them all but like it says in the description I kinda bleed out if motivation for the build. Thanks. @Chancey21

Nice presentation, I almost spotlighted it because of how selling it was, but then I downloaded it. All of the airfoil shapes are weird, the front windshield is not curved well and you frankly butchered those “E”s on the logo. All easy fixes that would make this build a high quality masterpiece. But I hoped for decent flight at least... I was disappointed...
It stalled like a modded carbon Cub on steroids, and broke he world record landing distance. Did you research any about how this plane is supposed to perform?
I hope you’ll accept the criticism and update the build soon.
    Thanks,

You may want to look at my DHC-6 Twin Otter for inspiration on a similar building method and logo accuracy
