History

The MV New Armonia of Ocean Network Line started as the MS Hayabusa No.7 of Japan East Ferry Line where she served the Takamatsu-Tonsho-Okayama and vice versa.

In 2006 she was acquired by Ocean Network Line together with the MV Soya Maru no.9(future M/V New Odyssey) and was assigned in the Cebu-Cagayan De Oro-Jagna and vice versa routes.

She was pulled out of service in 2013 due to frequent engine problems and was sent for a temporary drydock to be re-engined and repainted with a new livery.

In 2016 she was relocated to Manila serving the Manila-Coron-Puerto Princesa as a temporary vessel as the replacement for the M/V Venus because she ran aground near Coron,Palawan.
