Wiki
The Nieuport 17 C.1 (or Nieuport XVII C.1 in contemporary sources) was a French sesquiplane fighter designed and manufactured by the Nieuport company during World War I. An improvement over the Nieuport 11, it was a little larger than earlier Nieuports and better adapted to the more powerful engine than the interim Nieuport 16. Aside from early examples, it had the new Alkan-Hamy synchronization gear, permitting the use of a fuselage-mounted synchronised Vickers gun firing through the propeller disc.

@rexzion I swear i had it in there but I fixed it. thanks bro
aww man no credit to me? :(
How come all the cool biplanes here are like a 1000 parts each!?
@MajorSix thats awesome. idk much ab mine but that he left america to join the escadrille
Your great grandfather flew in WW1!? Mine did too! He flew Sopwith Camels for the RAF. 103rd Squadron. Fun fact: 103rd was actually one of the first bomber squadrons. My great grandfather was an escort fighter in the squadron.
@CRJ900Pilot I never thought about that. Thank you
Amazing, absolutely amazing! The livery is spot on and insanely cool, plus the cockpit is a very cool experience. The rotary engine and the custom prop is the cherry on top, that must've took hours to make lol. Wings and engine cowling are super smooth which make me happy. Only little thing I recommend is to put
damperMultiplier
on the rotators for the control surfaces. They are quite lurchy and realistically, the pilot would ease in and out of maneuvers. In the JointRotator section, putdamperMultiplier
on the left and put10000
on the right. You can change this value to your liking@TheSavageManZ yeah. It was fun getting that shot
that's my fokker in the background huh
@lilgreen06 thanks. the wheels are 2 parts and a skinny tire
1,) I love this! 2.) I like the fact that you made a plane that kind of has history with you and your family. 3.) How did you make the wheels?
I love the ww1 plane comeback, great work!
Holy moly! that's a cool art!! Great job!
