Development history
The Sarsenian Republic was in need of a new main battle tank for years to replace the aging M250. Development went smoothly for the first 5 years out of its 25 years of development, after some political shenanigans going on around the nation, it was delayed for 7 years. Despite a rough development of the vehicle, it was finished and first shown to the public through an arms fair with the vehicle costing at USD$6.9 Million per unit. Over its 5 years of acceptance by the Ministry of Sars Republic Defence (MoSRD), 90 Pardinus were built and it is planned that the Sarsenian Armed Forces will be given 60 more so that we can fully replace the M250 and only to leave out the modernised M251s in service and eventually phasing those out as well

Armour
The Pardinus relies on the modularity of its armour

Please note the unmarked areas can block a 20mm APFSDS at 500m and at 90 degrees and the thickness is measured in Line of sight at 500m

• 1) A non-modular Composite armour mixed with NERA (Non-Explosive Reactive Armour) components, Providing 500~600mm of Kinetic Rounds and 700~800mm of Shaped Charged munition of Rolled Homogenous Armour. The lower plate is also protected by the same non-modular armour but thinner with providing Kinetic round protections of 200~300mm and 500-600mm Shaped Charged munitions protection of Rolled Homogenous armour.

• 2 / 5) Light modular composite armour with NERA, Providing 50mm of Kinetic Protection and 100-200mm of Shaped Charged munition protection of Rolled Homogenous armour.

• 3 / 9) Heavy modular third-generation ERA brick with Kinetic round protection of 200mm and 800mm shaped charged munitions and effective against tandem-charge warhead

• 4) Gun mantlet with composite armour with a thickness of 700~800mm RHA for Kinetic rounds and 1000mm of RHA protection for Shaped Charged munitions

• 5) Heavy modular composite and NERA with a thickness of 1000~1100mm RHA for Kinetic rounds and 1400~1500mm of RHA protection for Shaped Charged munitions

• 7) A variable thickness modular NERA armour with 3 variants for low,medium and high threat situation

• Light threat variant were used for transportation and is just an empty metal box
• Medium threat is the one shown and it can protect the vehicle from a 105mm APFSDS and non-tandem shaped charged munitions

• Heavy threat is used for when the vehicle is being used in combat and expected to face heavy anti-tank weapons presences which can protect the vehicle from a 120mm APFSDS and tandem charged munitions but it increases the vehicle's weight at 65 metric tonnes

• 8) Blast doors to protect the crew incase of an ammo detonation

+20 degrees of gun elevation (30 degrees with hydropneumatic suspension)
- 5 degrees of gun depression (10 degrees with hydropneumatic suspension)

Mobility
80 kph forwards , 45kph backwards with a 1400hp gas turbine engine with an operational range of 570km and a 1300hp diesel engine with an operational range of 650km

Controls

• AG1 - Unlocks turret

• AG2 -

• AG3 - Combined with AG1, it activates an auto-aim that is effective to 10km

• AG4 - Combined with AG1, it activates the hydropneumatic suspension

• AG5 - Activates 20mm turret (use WASD or mouse control)

• AG6 - Activates Thermal sights

• AG7 - Activates Night vision

• AG8 - Deactivates the Engine

• VTOL to move back and forwards

• Yaw ( Q and E ) to turn

• Roll ( A and D ) to turn the turret

• Pitch ( W and S ) to lift the gun
