3.9 years ago
A "What if" model of a P-51D Mustang powered by the same powerplant as the Vought F4U Corsair, the Pratt and Whitney R-2800 "Double Wasp" Air-Cooled Radial Engine. The Trailblazer is an Aircraft made by an Artist of said plane.
Body is completely of the Mustang's, so essentially you can make it into an Inline Engine version if you wish to do so

LMAO
@tsampoy thanks, it was @RuvienRuvienTheCitizen who convinced me to build it and well, a bit of me too as i got curious to what it would look like lol
Nice uhh P-51 with a radial engine I guess. Either way nice build
*heavy breathing
Inline Engine...
its a Vee, not an Inline
*excessive wheeze
Anyhow, its a good plane :p
Nice!
@DerVito i like mine a see through from the inside of the cockpit without obstruction when in 1st person. Thanks for the advice, but no thanks.
@Pnicks15 so I'm not saying that you need to make crafts with the interior. But here it would be better to fit a regular fuselage unit with a tuned shine (as in my crafts).
@MrEarth well, you're wrong.
The common point of the F4U, F6F, F8F and P-47, other their .50cal MGs, were their engine, the P&W R-2800 "Double Wasp".
the idea is atleast cool but i think if no one minds me nitpicking. the bubble style isnt that good looking. if it was up to me. i would use the razorback version
@DerVito
1. No experience on doing interior yet.
2. Itll lag in phone.
3. Phone screen already small. So itll be harder to make one.
Edit: btw, i suggest changing
dragScale
of the wire to0
and themassScale
of the propeller down to1.135
or if you want, you can just download the fixed version in the description.You have no interior. There isn't even a cutout in the fuselage for the cockpit. Why you use glass? The glass is needed to show the "insides". Here through the glass you will see only a black blotch and a piece of the pilot sticking out...
Overall the plane looks good, I'll test it later.
I got to say, it flies nicely
Ah #$*&, i forgot about the working flaps like my other builds....
@Pnicks15
K.
@MrEarth i knows its the truth lol
Corsair didnt have an epic engine like the p47, so it wouldnt be worth it
@Pnicks15 I am not being mean, its just the truth lol
@MrEarth chill, its only a model if it had a radial engine... True the P-47 is alot bigger... Maybe the Corsair's then?
The reason the P47 is gigantic IS the engine, P51 was just a dumb normie that had a virgin inline engine
Err, the P47 engine shouldn't be able to fit in a P51, that's why it wasn't in it, in the first place
